Nicole, Meagan and Andrew A Sampling of Past Performances Friday, December 18, 2010 from 4:30-6:15PM, Andrew Richter, cello, Meagan McIntyre, violin, and Julia Eiten, viola performed for the 6th Annual Yule Market: a unique holiday event following the traditional aspects of a European Christmas Market. This was free and open to the public, featuring roasted chestnuts, mulled cider, holiday gifts, stocking stuffers and last minute fixings for meals and entertaining. The event was held at Skillin's Greenhouse in West Cumberland located on 201 Gray Road. Sponsored by the Cumberland Farmers Market Association. Thursday, December 17, 2010, from 6 - 8 p.m., the Richter & Kiley Duo performed holiday selections at the Seagrass Bistro in Yarmouth, Maine. http://seagrassbistro.com/ Thursday, Dec.17, 2010, the Richter & Kiley Duo, performed a holiday program for the residents at the Thornton Oaks Retirement Living Community in Brunswick. Tuesday, Dec.15, 2010 the Stretta String Duet, performed a holiday program for the residents at the Atlantic Heights Retirement community in Saco. Thursday, December 10th, 2010, from 6 - 8 p.m., live music at the Seagrass Bistro in Yarmouth, Maine. From 6 - 7 p.m., Andrew Richter, cellist, providing solo selections for the holidays. Wednesday, December 9, 2010 the Richter & Kiley Duo performed cello and piano duets at the Muddy Rudder Restaurant on US Route One in Yarmouth as part of Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce's Boast N' Toast & Silent Auction. The event is from 5-8 p.m., a ticketed event, with proceeds to benefit the Chamber Scholarship Fund and YarmouthCAN. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, the Richter & Kiley Duo, performed a holiday program from 12-2PM, at the Azure Cafe in Freeport, Maine, two doors down from LL Bean, featuring Cellist, Andrew Richter, and pianist, Kevin Kiley. This event coincided with the Sparkle Freeport weekend, with other fun festivities scheduled throughout the day. The Azure Cafe is located on 123 Main St. in Freeport, Maine.

Winslow Homer Stamp CelebrationDate: Thursday, August 12, 2010 Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Price: Free Location: Portland Museum of Art, http://www.portlandmuseum.org/ In celebration of Winslow Homer and the Poetics of Place and in collaboration with the United States Postal Service, the Museum will unveil the new stamp of the Winslow Homer painting Boys in a Pasture (1874) on its first day of issue. Representatives from the Portland Post Office will be here to postmark your stamp with a special pictorial postmark designed specifically for this event. Winslow Homer’s Boys in a Pasture (1874) is the ninth stamp issued in the American Treasures series. The Museum will also showcase two first day of issue stamps from December 15, 1962 of the Winslow Homer painting Breezing Up (A Fair Wind) (1873–1876). In the "Sun Room" from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The Summer Reading Program is sponsored each year by the Friends of Prince Memorial Library, 266 Main St., Cumberland, Maine 04021 Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 7:00 pm Westbrook-Warren church hosted its ninth annual Ecumenical Advent service. It coincides with the community celebration of the Festival of Trees. This year's service included: the Westbrook High School Chamber Choir, the LOGOS players, the children’s Celebration Choir, Spirited Movement, liturgical dancers and the Stretta String Duet, with Andrew Richter, cello, and Meagan McIntyre, violin. Sunday, August 2, 2009, Southport Island, Maine: The Stretta String Duet was invited to play the prelude, offertory and postlude at the Sunday morning service as a part of the summer music series at All Saints by-the-Sea. Saturday, November 8, 2008 at seven o'clock in the evening at Portland Yacht Services, 58 Fore Street, Portland, Maine. Awards will be presented for the day's "Leafer's Last Leg" regatta and silent auction. Live musical entertainment by Richter Ensembles. $25.00 per ticket in advance, $30.00 at the door. Cash Bar and complimentary Hors D'oevres. All proceeds to benefit SailMaine, a non-profit sailing organization. Cocktail attire requested. Located in Portland, Maine, the Victoria Mansion is the finest example of residential design from the pre-Civil War era in America. On Thursday, November 29th 2007, the Mansion’s Holiday Gala took place. Guests toured the dazzlingly decorated Mansion and met the designers. Classical & holiday music was provided by the Stretta String Duet (Meagan McIntyre, violin, and Andrew Richter, cello). Winter Wonderlands Holiday Tea at the Gardens on Saturday, December 1st 2007, with Andrew Richter, solo cello (3-4PM), performing at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. The Gardens featured authentic Devonshire cream and English tea (provided by Upton Tea Imports in Hopkinton, Mass.), scones, and classic tea sandwiches. Saturday, December 8th 2007, the Richter & Kiley Duo performed (from 5 - 6:30 p.m.) at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay as part of a delightful Holiday Evening, including complimentary wine and other beverages, as well as cheese; a cheerful blaze in the stone fireplace was as a backdrop for the festivities. All materials were local and native and were harvested from the 2007 Outstanding Tree Farm of Lincoln County, owned and operated by Amanda Russell and Andy Abello. Sunday, December 9th 2007 from 2-3:30PM, the Richter & Kiley Duo played holiday selections on cello and piano at the Townsend Coffee House, in Boothbay Harbor. This is a great place to sit down, relax, and converse while sipping on a warm beverage.
