They were precisely what we wanted: a lovely artistic presence that created a rich musical atmosphere without taking over. The classical and baroque pieces were selected for a certain comfort, it seemed, without delving into the overly-familiar. Andrew and Meagan are completely professional. 2005 wedding Andrew— …the three of you demonstrated exactly what is best in music; it was transporting-just a great experience. You were there when you said you would be and unstinting in sharing with us your great gifts for making marvelous music. Alan Wolff Andrew Richter is a gifted man. Not only is he proficient on the cello, but he plays from a deep place within. We have been blessed by his playing in our own home for a simple birthday celebration, in our church where his awareness of the people around him has brought sensitivity and reflection to holy moments, in coffee houses where he blends his serious connection to his instrument with lively, upbeat and joyful expression. Our last opportunity to invite Andrew to bring his expertise and soul was at a retirement party for a friend where he played Celtic tunes and jigs that inspired dancing and spirited song. We can honestly say that Andrew has become a dear friend through his bow and strings and, more importantly, the wonderful person that move them to create beautiful music.
